The Ultraman Geed the Movie was revealed through m-78.jp on November 23, 2017, along with announcing its release date. May J. was set to sing the film's ending theme.[2][3][4] According to Yuika Motokariya, the filming took place in September 2017 in the Okinawa Prefecture of Japan.[4] The first trailer was released on November 30, 2017, followed by the list of cast and a summary of the film's plot.[5] The second trailer was released on February 7th, 2018.
