- Similar to its predecessors (Ultra Zero Fight and Ultra Fight Victory), the "Ultra Fight" of the series' name comes from the low-budget 1970 Ultra Fight series.
- Ultra Fight Orb is the last Ultra Fight series before the first Ultra Galaxy Fight series, Ultra Galaxy Fight: New Generation Heroes. The Ultra Galaxy Fight series would continue the high-budget, single-plot, mini-series formula established by Ultra Zero Fight, and in 2020, low-budget mini-series, titled Sevenger Fight, would take on the style of the 1970 Ultra Fight series.
