In 1985, Spectacular Films purchased the rights to the The 6 Ultra Brothers vs. The Monster Army, Ultraman Story, Ultraman: Great Monster Decisive Battle, and Zoffy: The Ultra Warriors vs. the Giant Monster Army and edited them together into Space Warriors 2000. Since all four films were meant to be standalone stories, four radically different plots had to be combined in to one cohesive story.
