SSSS.GRIDMAN is a animated Kyodai Hero kaiju series produced by Tsuburaya Productions and based on Gridman the Hyper Agent. It follows the story of Yuta Hibiki, who after losing his memories discovers Gridman in the old computer. Yuta found, that he has an ability to merge with Gridman for defending the city from giant monsters, created by Akane Shinjo.
On April 2, 2021, the series was followed by SSSS.DYNAZENON, set in the same universe.
Plot
After Yuta Hibiki lost his memory, he woke up in the house of his classmate Rikka Takarada. In her mother's shop, he noticed an old computer containing Gridman. He called Yuta and reminded him of his mission. Impressed Yuta told Rikka and his friend Sho Utsumi about it, but they didn't see Gridman. Suddenly the city was attacked by kaiju, and they finally noticed Gridman. Yuta found the ability to merge with Gridman, and together they defeated the monster. Although, after that, everyone forgot about the terrible incident, and only Yuta and his friends remembered it. Together they fight against Akane Shinjo and her monsters.
