Ignis (イグニス Igunisu) is an Ultraman Series seijin character who first appeared in the 2021 series Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga. He is a member of a thought-to-be extinct race of aliens known as the Lishurians (リシュリア星人 Rishuria Seijin, lit. Alien Lishuria).
Origins[]
Ignis was the last Lishurian to survive Hudram's attack on planet Lishuria. While on the ground injured, Ignis pointed his blaster at Hudram. Hudram was satisfied with his destruction and claimed that maybe one Lishurian could live on. As Hudram teleported away, Ignis still wanted to fight with the Giant of Darkness, but was left alone on his dying planet. About one hundred years later, Ignis had become what he would call, "the greatest treasure hunter in the universe," trying to find a power strong enough to defeat Hudram once and for all. He eventually began crossing paths with GUTS-Select in their attempt to battle against the Giants of Darkness and their monsters.
