Gorothunder (ゴロサンダー is a Gorosandā)kaiju that first appeared in episode nineteen of the 2019 television series Ultraman Taiga.
A second indavidual realted to Gorothunder appeared in episode 20 of Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga, under the name Barriguiler (バリガイラー. Barigairā)
Name[]
The first suffix of Gorothunder's name, "Goro (ゴロ," is diverted from the Japanese onomatopoeia of thunder sounds, Goro) (Gorogoro, with the second suffix using the word "Thunder ゴロゴロ) (サンダー." Barriguiler's name comes from the Sandā)kaiju-suffixes "Barri (バリ and Guiler Bari) (ガイラー. Ironicly, both monster's Japanese names contain " Gairā)Sandā" and "Gairā," which in turn are the names that belong to the two gargatuas from Toho's 1966 film, The War of the Gargantuas.
