The Rise of Ultraman is a comic book series by Marvel Comics. The first issue was released on September 9, 2020.[1][2]
A sequel comic series, The Trials of Ultraman, was announced on December 21, 2020.[3][4][5][6]

On November 24, 2019, it was announced at Tokyo Comic Con that Marvel Comics and Tsuburaya Productions will be releasing comics and graphic novels of the Ultraman franchise that will launch in 2020.[7][8][9] On March 1, 2020, its title was revealed alongside that it will focus on the classic era of Ultraman and will be co-written by Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom with the artwork by Francesco Manna.[10][11][12] The default cover art of the first issue was illustrated by comic artist Alex Ross.[1] On August 16, 2020, Marvel released a trailer for the comic series.[13] On October 21, 2020, It was announced that videos that reveal secrets would be uploaded to YouTube monthly with the first one being released on the same day.[14]
