STORAGE Report 1

STORAGE's report of the episode

Gomess, an ancient monster from the Cenozoic era, began to terrorize a Japanese city and its populace until Sevenger, a mecha constructed by STORAGE, arrived to dispose of the kaiju. The two began to battle while police evacuated the city's civilians. While Sevenger, controlled by Yoko Nakashima, was fighting Gomess, STORAGE member Haruki Natsukawa was also at the battlefield and noticed a lone dog. Haruki decided to save the lost animal from the attack and ran towards the dog into a building. Haruki was almost trampled by Gomess, who was heading in Haruki's direction. Before Gomess could harm Haruki, Yoko caught sight of Haruki and in an attempt to save him, used Sevenger to shove Gomess away into the nearby building. However, the mecha suddenly lost balance and collapsed onto the building, crushing Gomess in the process. Afterwards, at the STORAGE headquarters, director Kuriyama scolded Haruki and captain Shouta Hebikura about the building's destruction. After the two promised that there would be no more such incidents, Kuriyama left the room. As punishment, Haruki was assigned to clean up the destruction with Sevenger.

Meanwhile, in the space, near Earth, Ultraman Z and Ultraman Zero chased after the space monster Genegarg, who had eaten many Ultra Medals and a Z Riser from the Land of Light. Genegarg then turned around to battle. After a brief scuffle, the space monster spat a meteor towards the to Ultras, only for Bullton to emerge from it. The life-form then used its dimensional powers to send Zero to another dimension. Before being transported, Zero managed to toss medals of other Ultra Heroes to Ultraman Z and asked to return the medals that Genegarg had swallowed. Genegarg continued to fly towards Earth. Meanwhile, back in Japan, Sevenger, this time being controlled by Haruki, helped rebuild the city after Gomess' previous attack. Suddenly, Genegarg and Ultraman Z arrived nearby and began to battle. During the fight, Genegarg knocked Sevenger into a building, with Ultraman Z helping Haruki and the mecha get back up. Haruki realized that the Being of Light was one his side and the two decided to join forces to defeat Genegarg. The two fought the Genegarg well until they struck the monster's horn, which resulted in Genegarg bombarding the two with energy beams. Genegarg continued its rampage by charging towards Shinkoyo Elementary. Sevenger and Ultraman Z tried to protect the building and the civilians by taking the hits of the monster's beams. However, Genegarg fired its Genebuster at the two, defeating the Ultra and Sevenger.

Haruki awoke in a dark realm with Ultraman Z standing in front of him. The giant told Haruki that they both had been killed and the only way for them to be revived and fight and defeat the monster was for them to merge as one. At first, Haruki had trouble understanding the giant. After asking if by doing so, they could protect humanity. Once Z confirmed, Haruki agreed. Ultraman Z then granted Haruki the Ultra Z Riser. Z instructed Haruki to press the trigger, which caused a portal to appear nearby. After entering it, Haruki received an Ultra Access Card, and Ultraman Z instructed him to insert it into the Z Riser. Upon doing so, the Z Holder appeared on his belt. It contained three Ultra Medals of Z's masters: Ultraman Zero, Seven and Leo. These medals would grant them their respective Ultras' powers. At the request of Z, Haruki inserted the medals into the riser. Haruki told Z that he was in a hurry, but Z revealed that a minute in the portal-field was a second in the outside world. Once Haruki scanned the medals, Ultraman Z reappeared and asked Haruki to chant his name. Haruki shouted "Ultraman Z," only for nothing to happen. Z then instructed him to press the trigger on the Ultra Z Raiser. The two then transformed into a new form, Ultraman Z Alpha Edge and returned to the outside world.

Meanwhile, Yoko Nakashima was helping the civilians evacuate and tried to fend back Genegarg with her rifle. Suddenly, Ultraman Z reappeared and dropkicked Genegarg, knocking the monster down. The two then engaged in battle. The monster charged at Z headfirst using its snout-blade to attack. Z countered Genegarg and after giving the monster a few punches, chops and kicks, Genegarg fired its Geneparasite Bombs at the Ultra. Ultraman Z used the Z Sluggers he inherited from the Ultra Medals to destroy the missiles and knock his opponent back. Genegarg charged at Z once more, this time shoving Ultraman Z through a nearby building and carried the Ultra high above the city. Z kicked the monster back, only for Genegarg to charge its Genebuster. Fortunately, Ultraman Z fired his Zestium Beam at Genegarg, resulting in an energy beam lock. After a moment of firing, Ultraman Z's beam proved to be the stronger of the two. Once hit by Z's beam, Genegarg was sent back to the ground, where the monster exploded. The Ultra then flew away in the shape of a letter "Z." Afterwards, Z requested Haruki to gather the medals that scattered out of the monster, and that they could be helpful in the future. Haruki had trouble understanding once more, only for the space-field to vanish. Haruki then awoke next to Sevenger and found two Ultra Medals lying on the ground. He gathered them, reveling that they were medals of Ultraman Ace and Taro. Meanwhile, Yoko, who was looking for Haruki, found the third medal, Ultraman, and collected it. Haruki then ran to her and greeted her. Yoko was relived that Haruki was alive and asked him how he survived. Haruki told her that Ultraman Z, the giant, saved him just in time. Yoko contacted the STORAGE headquarters to insure them that Haruki was alive. Without their knowledge, Shouta Hebikura appeared nearby and held out three Ultra Medals of his own, Ultraman Tiga, Dyna and Gaia and walked away.

Later that night, at the GAF Monster Research Center, employees were containing the toxic flesh and debris of Genegarg. One employee, Shinya Kaburagi, tripped while transporting the fragments, spilling the flesh on the floor. After apologizing to he workmates, he began to clean the mess. Suddenly, a hostile, parasitic creature leaps out of Genegarg's flesh and attacks Kaburagi. After a short struggle, the creature enters Kaburagi's body and takes control of him. Now possessed, Shinya Kaburagi walked back to the flesh and pulled out an Ultra Z Riser and a strange, orange fragment, and spoke in unworldly language, "Kiete Karekareta" (I feel good).
